My name is Marc Mokken and I've been collecting comics since 1968 and original art since 1990.

My main interest in collecting is focused on  art by Dave Mckean

I work as a private paper conservator in my own studio and also frame art  and give advise in framing art.
I also advise in the conservation and proper storing of "paper collections"

If you have any or know of anybody that has Dave Mckean comic covers, CD covers, commissions or other published magazine or advertising art please let me know.

I sell through mail order, ebay, the comicartfans site and I do several larger conventions in Europe.

Was the first to sell key US comics and original art at conventions in the Netherlands starting in 1981 and still is the only one with wide range of US comics from the Golden Age up to key Bronze Age Books.With more than 600 pieces of  Original art in stock, Covers, interior art, commissions etc. Art of Comics is also one of the best places to find a beautiful piece of art for your collection or for up on your wall.

Publishing

Last year I also added publishing to our activities. I started with a series of 5 limited signed and numbered prints by Dave Mckean.

New projects are on the way including a very limited portfolio containing an original drawing by Dave Mckean
